Nature & Bog Tours
In addition to city tours, I also offer guided bog hikes in the Estonian wilderness.
A bog is one of the most distinctive and calming landscapes in Estonia – vast open wetlands dotted with small bog pools, sparse pine trees, and wooden boardwalks leading you deep into the silence of nature.
During the hike, we talk about:
- how bogs are formed
- the birds, animals, and plants that live in bog habitats
- the unique characteristics of Estonian nature
In spring, you can hear birdsong everywhere, and it is also the season when cottongrass and wild rosemary bloom across the bog. In summer, you can taste wild bog berries and even take a swim in a bog lake – a refreshing and truly unique experience.
To book a bog hike, please let me know in your inquiry how many people are in your group and how long you would like to spend in the bog, and I will prepare a price offer for you.
